Hi, I’m Oai, a photographer based in Sacramento. I’m 26 years old, born and raised in Vietnam, and photography has been a passion of mine since childhood.

People often ask why I chose photography over anything else. The answer is simple, because of memories. Growing up, my parents took countless photos of me. As I got older, I realized something powerful: no matter how much we wish to, we can never go back to those exact moments in time. Photographs are one of the few things that allow us to hold onto those memories and relive the emotions connected to them.

That realization is what inspired me to become a photographer. To me, photography is more than just taking beautiful images, it’s about preserving real moments, genuine emotions, and meaningful connections.
